The Good News Tour Birmingham Mission, 17-23 August is almost here, we are excited and raring to go!

We still have some final prep: making up kids packs, folding literature, and a few more purchases, then that’s it!
Hallelujah! We are coming to Birmingham!
This is the third year running extended missions into the heart of the city, proclaiming the Good News and practically serving the homeless with the love of Christ.
Calling, all believers everywhere!
It is all hands on deck to save the city from the dark and destructive trajectory it is heading.
Only the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring the radical change needed—no political party can achieve it.
Communities are being destroyed by drug addiction, with dangerous substances such a synthetic drug known as Mamba, devastating lives. We’ve personally witnessed zombie-like individuals at the missions, and been told by the homeless of deaths due to taking it.
At the same time, knife violence is a significant problem. Birmingham ranks the highest major city for this offence.
The city also faces extremism and radicalisation. Birmingham has produced a disproportionately high share of the country’s lslamIst terrorism convictions relative to its Muslim population. People need to be saved out of evil and violent ideologies.
The people of Birmingham are lost, sheep without a shepherd.
That’s why the Holy Spirit told me to go to Birmingham.
We were living in Kent at the time. Shortly after, the call was confirmed through brother Steve, who put out an urgent and heartfelt plea on Facebook, asking where was the church in Birmingham. I contacted Steve immediately and said we were coming. We met, and began going into the city on single day missions. But I saw the need was far greater, and I felt the urgency of the Lord to hold extended missions. Without any hesitation, Steve and his precious wife Deborah stood with us in the plan. Steve and Deborah work tirelessly every Sunday and whenever they can, labouring in the city reaching the lost. Without Steve and Deborah the task would be much harder, and we are so thankful to God for joining our hearts together to see Birmingham saved.
The Good News Birmingham Mission is an opportunity to bring the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ with compassion where there is despair, hope where there is fear, and practical help for the homeless.
Whether through serving, praying, or simply showing God’s love in action, every one of us can make a difference.
Birmingham needs people willing to step into the darkness and shine a light. Will it be you? You might not be able to stand on the streets in person with us, but there are so many ways in which you can help.
We can’t wait to see you all!
We will set up at the end of New Street, near Boots and Burger King from:
9:30–10:00 to 18:00-19:00 everyday from Monday 17 to Sunday 23 August.
Message Jason and Orsola Carter if you are interesting in helping in anyway. Let us see Birmingham radically touched by the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Let’s do this while we are able. Time is running out!
GET THE MESSAGE OUT!
